Actually it can take a few minutes for zoom to open a meeting. I am always 'late' joining. I also tried zoom breakouts yesterday and again it took me over 1 minute to join that room. I have uninstalled and re-installed zoom and still the same issue.

Me too! Zoom is now 5. I have the same issue as well. Since a couple of weeks, it takes minutes for zoom to start a meeting, either when I join an existing meeting or start my own.

I'm on zoom version 5. It's pretty annoying because it looks as if I always join meetings too late. Yes, very slow I have problems with it loading, connecting and I always seem to lose the first 10 minutes of a meeting, then later it crashes and I have to log in all over again. I have no problems with Skype or anything else on my windows 10 laptop. Yeah, it's the only app I have this problem with - CRAZY slow to load, extremely sluggish when open, super frustrating.
